Team Performance Optimization Training
based on MBTI™ Profiles of Team Members

Highly interactive workshop which involves participants in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities designed to help them understand the nature of their own and other team members' personality types.

Customized Session

The workshop is designed specifically for the client, incorporating activities that will demonstrate the personality differences and similarities of team members.  The emphasis is on how to effectively use the various personalities on a team to improve overall team performance.

Format of Session

The session is divided into two parts: the first half aimed at understanding the individual profile (Sample MBTI™ Profile); the second half focused on the composite profile of the entire team.

Each team member will receive an extensive report (Sample MBTI™Team Report) which provides both individual and team results, covering the
following topics:
  • Individual type
  • Team type
  • Team similarity index
    • Process
    • Outcome/Performance
  • Individual and Team
    • Strengths and weaknesses
    • Problem solving style
    • Problem solving and time management
  • Conflict
    • Sources of conflict
    • Conflict resolution
  • Action Plan
    • Suggestions for improving team effectiveness
    • Identify your common ground
    • Establish ground rules
    • Suggestions for improving individual effectiveness

In the first half of the session, team members learn their own strengths, weaknesses and blind spots.  This knowledge will lead to better performance.

In the team segment of the session, the team explores the composite team profile with a focus on strengths, weaknesses and blind spots of the team and the effect of the composite team profile on team performance. Emphasis will be on how each team member is best utilized.

behaviors and values that drive their interactions with
others and the activities of their roles.
  • Team members learn to value rather than condemn the
differences in approaches other team members have.
  • Teams learn which team members are suitable for
    specific tasks and projects.
  • Teams learn a language that allows them to address
    differences respectfully and productively.
  • Team members learn that approaching problems
in different ways can be healthy and productive
    for an organization.
